April 2016 - This morning as I was getting ready to go show a large parcel of land, I couldn't help but think about how blessed I am. That same thought came to me again after I spent time with my clients. We "kicked a little dirt" and spent some time "shooting the breeze" on this amazing spring day while looking over the countryside before us.
As I pulled out onto the gravel road that would lead to the paved road miles ahead, I breathed in country air and breathed out gratitude. With the windows down I took in the hills of Calhoun County Mississippi - green pastures - winding country roads...Speaking of country roads-
Country Roads, Calhoun County MS
As I was driving down some of the "paths less traveled" on my way home, I almost felt like breaking out into a chorus or two of John Denver's Country Road.
I hear her voice in the mornin' hour she calls me. The radio reminds me of my home far away. And drivin' down the road I get a feeling. That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday. Country roads take me home. To the place, I belong....
Today's country road led me to peace and relaxation. What joy.....all from something as simple as being surrounded by nature and good people. God did good....and this is my "job". I'm not confined to an office. I'm not surrounded by brick, sheet rock and concrete, or the sound of honking horns. I get to spend time talking with people, making wishes come true. Caring, serving, being part of lives here at My Mississippi Home.
To say I am blessed is such an understatement. I am honored and overjoyed to be a Mississippi Real Estate Agent - Your Hometown Realtor®.
Give me a holler -or a phone call. No matter where you are, I am only a phone call away.
